China Trip: Second Day

February 3rd, Thursday...

Alrighty, here comes the second day of my trip in China. I'm not gonna talk much somehow, will just follow the flow of the pictures. *Note!! Tons of them down there... Can just ignore this if you don't mind ^^

Woke up with a high 5 good morning ^0^ "Zhao Shang Hao!!" Felt super fresh 'cause the temperature was alot colder in the morning usually. Love it :)

Having our buffet breakfast at the lobby restaurant :) The food was considered as kinda good for that day. Why said so? Lol... well, I'll show you what we ate for the coming morning ;)

Each day morning, we will just take our belongings along when we leave the room. What you see in the picture was only half of them, 'cause some of them haven't woke up XD

That's how the hotel looks like. It has an outdoor part for us to hang around, perhaps for those smokers. But you wouldn't wanna go out for sure I bet, 'cause I saw obvious vapor too when we talked. O.O

Still some of the smokers tend to sit outside and start chatting. Haha, looks like addiction is greater than anything else.

My family was chatting with another guy, they were in thick sweater, but I was only with one layer, just the inner sweater on... Haha... Tough right? :P

Taking our belongings, move up to our bus. We headed on to our very first place of the day. ^^

Just got down from the bus. The gang... Mana pergi??

That's a toilet... But no no... It wasn't our destination, just because everyone very urgent only. Hehe :P

Done some snappings around... Ohh... it was a lake. You can't see the end of the bay right? Of course, a very very big one.

Me!! Hehe... Our Malaysian tourist help me to snap this though. Frankly, you saw my shade don't you?? But I was almost froze to death... My hand was already immune... XD Freaking cold~ >< Two classic wood made boats were parking at the side... Nice ^^

Here we go... That's where we were heading to in fact. Can you figure out what was it from the outer appearance? Haha, for sure you can't, it's ok... It's actually a fake Bird Nest that imitated from where BeiJing Olympic 2008 took place, the "Bird Nest". Of course this fake Bird Nest wasn't a stadium like the real one does, but a Cinema. Don't play play, watching a movie here is gonna be two or three times more expensive than we do in Malaysia. :S

We didn't attempt to pay a visit inside 'cause we were not gonna watch any movie. So the whole gang outside was preparing to have some group pictures. :)

Here we go... Everybody say "CHEESE!!" :D Opps... I wasn't inside :P

Family picture... ;)

Dad and mom... Woah!! Didn't know that my dad looks so "yeng" in the picture... Some more so leng zai.. Hehehe *smirking*

Mom's solo picture... She loves that scene alot when there are some trees, rivers and boats behind. It's nice right? :)

We wanna have a picture together with our China tour of Su Zhou, 'cause our next destination was gonna be led by another different tour already. So yea... *Shutter tucking* :)

Before it ends, we visited the last place of Su Zhou, where we bought some silk blanket and pillow.. It's a factory, which illustrated how they take out the plain silk from the worms, and step by step processing into the cloth. Seriously, it's too smooth to be expressed in words.

Lotsa different kinds of blankets, pillows, and dresses were being shown. But the price weren't as friendly as we thought. So not much of the tourists make their decisions in purchasing. Most of them just looking around.

We were told that they are pricey because this kinda silk weren't the kinda cheapskate normal silk. They are called the Snow Silk. What they meant was this kinda Snow Silks were especially useful during summer or winter time. The surface of the silk cloth would always remain in 22 - 23 degree Celsius only, just nice for human body temperature. So, suitable if you wanna have good sleeps. I kinda like the pattern of the blanket above... :) Too bad it's too expensive. (Can't get to shoot more 'cause cameras were prohibited inside)

Some pictures of the models showing their silk-make dresses and Tees. Whichever pictures that you found them wearing in the pictures, were all undoubtedly made of silk..

In a mall after the factory, where they have their products sold...

Haha... I just can't help snapping non-stop :P

Oh yeah!! It's lunch time... We were taken to the nearest restaurant, really near... Just right besides the silk manufacture factory only. Hehe... Hungry~~ China beers were serve, I can drink alot... :P It's our last meal in Su Zhou... Food was somewhat quite nice though, hehe... :P

Alright... Next on, we were heading straight to the next state, Nan Jing... The specs guy in the picture above was our China tour of Nan Jing. Again... don't play play, he is a great historian who knows most above the histories of ancient China. Can just talk without looking at any script... Salute!!

(The first place that we were heading to... Ermm, so sorry that I totally don't have any pictures about it.. Because I chose not to snap any there, I don't want... :( You might be impressed at my words and wondering why... Well, it was actually a museum, which commemorate, not the good but the extremely bad histories: about how the Japanese killed the Chinese in Nan Jing when they launched attacks on China. As a Chinese, you and me wouldn't wanna remind even a lil of all these scenarios. But we have to know, it's called the "Nan Jing Da Tu Sa" (The Grand Massacre Of Nan Jing) Where the museum located was where the Japanese killed and laid the dead bodies of the Chinese. All the skulls and skeletons were being carefully dug out but still in their original positions. The way how we see them laying now, was the way they died that time. And seriously, anger was arousing within me... In anyway, they couldn't be forgiven. *Angry*)

This was the next place we headed to after the museum... Called the "Chang Jiang Da Qiao" (The Huge Bridge of Chang Jiang). Which was another memorable place honoring how great the Chinese was in building this bridge. Let me brief you out later... :)

Me, hehe... and the huge status behind was the famous China communist Mou Zhe Dong. :P So-called "The Father or The Savior of Old China."

Waiting for the elevator taking us to the highest floor of the building. ^^ Ohh... We actually paid for the tickets. 3 bucks ren min bi...

Oh yeah... Here we are. What you see in the picture was the "Chang Jiang Da Qiao" that I have mentioined. It was the very first grand bridge China used to be proud of, because that time, around 1940s, China wanna build something so that countries from the west may verify her as part of the rich country. However, China was so poor that, she has to use whatever crops that she has to exchange with Russia for their technologies. But once when China ran out of crops, Russia stopped immediately in building this bridge for her. China realized how merciless the foreign countries were. The Chinese pleased the Russians at least to leave their graph designing, pictures and scales to them to continue themselves. Yet instead of giving them these things, the Russians chose to burn them. Since then, China bears the pain of learning from others the skills of building, scrutinized and figured out how the Russians previously did. The Chinese bombed it, using their own skills, will human strength, bearing all kinds of pain, piling by diving down the water one by one for nine bridge stands. Countless of them died and or suffered from the processes, that couldn't be expressed verbally. And so, with these old method of building, the world first longest bridge that allows two lanes of car forth and back, while at the same time, with railroads for trains to by pass too. It's the only bridge that's free of charge from toll even until today ^^ The Americans were seriously shocked, but their verified and admitted that it's China's works, and later on, the president of America wanted to reconnect their relationship with China just because of this. Haha... We are proud to be Chinese!!

Me ^^ Love the scenary behind :)

Me and my pretty mommy ;)

Mom and dad ^^

Haha... it's a full view of the whole scene. Was using the new 3D panorama function of my DSLR... Click to enlarge it for detailed view ya. ;)

Family pictures together again... :)

A random snap in the lift. Haha.. notice my dad's face? LOL... that's an epic effect of a warp mirror. XD

After the visit of the toppest floor, everyone was sitting in this room to continue the half-told story I told just now. Hehe, everyone enjoyed listening.. ^^

After the story telling, we were being led to another room where there was a Sifu, we called him teacher. He's a very awesome drawer as in drawing pictures in the crystal ball using mice's palpus. I'm seriously, he's not earning any income for himself but all the money that we pay for what he drew, all went to the reparation fees of the bridge.

This kinda picture within crystal ball can only be found there and no where else in world already. He is the only one who does this kinda drawing. Look how careful he was :) We were told not to take pictures with flash, 'cause that would actually distract him in working. We bought two of the crystal ball pictures though, love it ^^

Hehe... before leaving that place.. ^^v Peace sign goes on... :P

Got on to the bus, we head on to the place for dinner... Got hungry so easily in colder place.

Yeah yeah... I can actually hear my stomach drumming ady... Paiseh, I'm fat la.. The meals here seems quite okay compare to the previous place that we ate. Same, China beers were serve... ^^Love it.. :P

The river which looked so colorful, and that's what caused it to looked so with Chinese New Year Spirit. Love this picture alot alot :)

It's our free time after dinner, that we were brought to a place somewhat like pasar malam that packed with crowds... And I still remember the temperature that time was only 3-5 degree Celsius, freaking cold~!!!

Snapping around in the cloth shop... Actually my parents were buying another winter sweater for me. What I was wearing in the pictures all the while were a sweater from my dad's friend. It's ok, I bought a nice big thick and black sweater for myself. Hehe, just 400++ Ren Min Bi, (RM200++) which you can only dream if u wanna use RM200++ to go for a proper winter sweater in Malaysia.

After choosing mine, i was exploring the whole of this street from beginning till the end. :P

Wow, saw the crowds??? Hehe... I was so excited to see so many people loitered and hung around there. ^^ Never cared that much, I just walked to wherever I sse that's nice. ^^

No matter how modern the restaurants are, we can still see some Chinese tradition's shape or styles of building up the roofs and also decorations appear on their outlook. Personally found it kinda interesting :D

It's somewhat like a small food street located besides the river.. But their varieties of food and desserts were just too sufficient. :P

Frankly, it's really a nice place to crave for nice nice food, I love it XD Frankly, if I were given enough time and enough money, I would try all of them out :d Hehe, I'm fat... :P

That was what we always see from the old hong kong drama. Famous for calling it "Bing Tang Hu Lu." Haha.. I was only given 20 bucks Ren Min Bi, yet I still found lotsa nice food here. Take a look... ^^

Take a closer look at this "Bing Tang Hu Lu". It's actually make out of a kinda of fruit called "Shan Zha". Personally, don't really like this taste of this, it was too sweet as expected, furthermore, it has too many seeds in it that I was non-stop spitting out seeds besides the Tong Sampah and dare to go no where.

Their style of Pearl Tea, which costs around 5 bucks Ren Min Bi, (around Rm2.50), that's so cheap, even though it's without bubble. Hehe, it's so cold but pearl tea is supposed to serve cold right?? I asked that fella for a cold one and he was like... You serious?? LOL, yea of course, do I look like joking?? I'm from Malaysia :P

Tents at the roadside, also the river side... Very nice, but sorry for my picture 'cause it's in all dark condition.. Using flashgun sometimes just couldn't maintain the yellowish.

River that fills with colorful colorful kinda lightnings and boats... Helps enhancing the Chinese New Year Spirit alot. ^^ All I saw was, people taking their cameras and snapping non-stop on this scene.. :)

The electronic lanterns that hang on top of the roof of the bridge makes the whole scene surrounded with strong Chinese New Year Spirit... Love it. So nice :)

It's a restaurant besides the river if I wasn't mistaken, and those boats... Do they fetch people to their restaurant with them??

This was on another side of the area already, I mustn't go too far or else it would be tired to walk back all the way, yet, I still haven't reached the end of the street. Let's go back... ^^

The right side of the bridge...

The left side of the bridge...

Uh hah... Hehe, as I was walking back from another end of the street, found this halfway through. It's the famous "Long Xu Tang" Kuih Dragon Palpus. I swear to God, it's super-duper damn nice, >.<

Take a closer look, all the palpus shape look so smooth. It doesn't stick much to your teeth after eating. Such a nice feature that nowhere can achieve... Love it... Miss is now >.<

Saw this while halfway walking back to where we were supposed to gather around. I tell you, China is very very popular in their fireworks, I was once got disturbed til the whole night can't fall asleep 'cause they were non-stop launching. WTF..

It's so tired after the whole day of loiter outside... Seriously need to have a good rest. ^^ But before that, I did online for more than 2 hours just to chat with a certain someone, missed her so much that time. :)

That's all for the second day trip. Wanna know more what's coming up next??

Stay tuned ya

K.y.U.o.
