China Trip: Third Day

February 4th, Friday...

Goody Morning!! Hehe... Time flies, and this was the third day of our trip in China. Since we reached Nan Jing quite late the previous day, so we still take our time to hang around some of the famous places of this state before leaving for another one. ^^ Sorry that I entered straight into our visitation without describing the morning preparation in the hotel. Well anyway, let's just show what's worth showing ;)

A very famous international shopping complex that sells various kinds of jasper. From what I heard about it was, it's the only largest complex that sells at "acceptable" prices. Erh hmm... :P

At the entrance in front of the big piece of dragon jasper, the great historian was briefing us out...

All the guys were surrounding the sales girls who were promoting their products. I have to admit that the jasper were all in great condition, very nice and were crystal clear. But with that kinda prices seriously not everyone can afford even though they were real. One funny thing was, every time these guys say pocket empty no money, eventually will end up buying all these "Noble stuffs" de. Hehe, so there were still buyers among us ^^

Unfortunately, it's the only picture that I got in the complex. 'Cause as expected, they usually will prohibit cameras from shooting at their product designs to avoid imitation. It's ok... :) I still got one to blog about it. ^^

So fast, tummy start drumming 'cause it's already lunch time. Our place for lunch was located within the complex, where there was a special luxurious-look restaurant for all the customers. :) Luxurious?? Judge yourself...

Yea.. Looked somewhat luxurious, but don't get cheated just by the cover. As I remember, the food wasn't any special and better when compare to those previous one. So far so good la, who cares? Tummy drumming, as long as it cures our hungers la :P

Alright, we were heading to the third largest.. Listen properly, it's only the third largest lake in China, called the "Xi Hu" (West Lake)...

Does it look like a lake? The tour told us that some of the previous tourists thought that it's a sea. But memang, it's really abnormally big and even I myself thought that it's a sea. Lol... there's a funny fact 'bout this lake, it's big and if you think it's deep you are super wrong. People said Yao Ming (China NBA Star) can just walk across this lake 'cause Yao Ming is 2.29m, while this lake is only 1.9m in water. Haha... XD

The lady who holds a purple flag was our next specific tour of this place. She knew most of the histories and fairy-tales about this particular place and also very good in the sense of humor. Really nice to have them guiding all the while, I gained much knowledge... :)

I tried hard to remember the name of this place, but I just can't recall... As long as it has something to do with temple and a huge Buddha Statutes. That's the main entrance with counters, we actually paid...

"Go Forward To the Cart Station"... Haha, I actually had problems reading these Chinese words... Which shows that my Chinese studies really degraded a lot. Don't care la... Well, imagine what kinda cart we sat on?? Take a look... XD

Yea... that's it.. Haha... cute right?? It's fun only if the plastic thingy is being removed, or else it was really stuffed inside, we need more oxygen :P

Around like 5 mins of stuffing in the cart... We reached to our destination. Looks nice?? Haiz... Even though it's a temple, considered holy la, but all I can say is it's so sumptuous, 'cause all the golden part that you see now were made of gold, O.O roll your eyes bigger, pure gold!!

From far here, you can see the huge or you might call it over-sized Buddha Statute standing so handsomely there. Look at the "Yeng-ness", hehe...

"Ling Shan Shen Hui"... ^^ Luckily I still know how to read these words.. :) It's the entrance... Very awesome lo, I mean the art works... But what's really awesome and splendid has yet to come. There were more inside the building...

Something that jot down about this temple. It might be the history, the story, or the epic-ness of it. I have no intention to figure out what's being carved, it's too small and again, it's for you readers. Tell me if you ever find out what's that in my commend box ya ^^

The pre-entrance of the main part... Ohh ya, before entering, all the tourists have to put on a black piece of cloth that can cover our shoes, because they consider this place to be extreme holy, so not gonna let our shoes to dirty their floor. Walao...

Tadah!! That's the main entrance to the so-called temple, hmm... But I felt more like walking into a museum lo. Prepare to open your eyes bigger to see what was being snapped. ;)

Applause to the splendid art works...

There was a hole full of pictures and idols in the middle, which would change in color... This color would be the best one. So I snapped it down ^^

There were 16 idols hanging besides the ceiling top if I wasn't mistaken. All with different outlook, and featuring colorful lightnings... Everybody will come out with the same sound at the first sight, that is, "WAH!!"

It's the most awesome and unbelievable art works that I found in the temple. It's carving art... I was like 20ft. away from it and it still looks this huge. Imaging how big it is originally... And I don't know how long does the carpenter take to do this? Somemore there were two of this of each side... O.O

There was an inner part with an elevated place looks like a stage... By the way, look at the among of people in the hall. O.O Another "WAH!!" Carbon dioxide too sufficient >.<

Something were being placed on the stage looked area, but I never intended to check it out. Never mind, it was so crowded, until I don't even have the motivation to squeeze with them. Let them take picture only la... :(

Another part of the building, which was actually a pathway with lotsa idols too. They were the Chinese Zodiacs made of pure gold also, I guess??

Dad's one is cow cow... Niu Niu ^^

Mom's one is tiger, lao hu lao hu.. Rawr O.O

And mine is snake, the symbol that characterizes laziness :P

In another hall, huge round in shape with many seat surrounding a center point. Featuring a huge colorful changing roof top... take a look :)

That's it... Another "WAH!!" right?? It's constantly changing in it's color in spinning motion. :)

Again changing, it's the rainbow colors this time.. Nice and awesome :)

Ohh... that's the hole full of pictures and idols from another angle.

Haha... Mom wanted me to take one for her. Aiks, the crowds kinda potong steam la... Hate it.

Was in the cart again. We were told that there was a show, we have no idea what kinda of show it is, so was just following the group heading to where the crowds gathered.

Here we are ^^ Ohh, it's actually a water fountain, with a huge don't know ape benda in the center of it. It was around 40ft in height, don't how many tons in weight. As long as it's all made of thick copper.

Ahh... The show that they were mentioning about was actually telling about the birth of Buddha, together with the kinda holy holy music played. On the other hand, if you notice, the golden pieces around the middle baby Buddha were actually lotus leafs. The whole thing was in slow rotary movements with stylish water squirting around.

Next stop... Was where the handsome huge copper make Buddha stands. We were standing at the lowest part of it. If wanna pray, we need to climb up the stairs to the upper part, which were 212 levels away if I wasn't mistaken. Challenge it.. Not me, but you... :P

Frankly, I wasn't really in the mood of climbing the stairs, 'cause was worrying my DSLR, it's already with dust inside the sensor. So just meant to take pictures.

Family pic ^^

OMGosh, I look to yeng^^ hehe... Joking la, but personally I really like this shot. Thanks to my mom. ^^

Dinner time again :P The scene really cast a very deep impression in my mind that whenever I see this, I remember how cold and how hungry we were that time.

I still remember some of them saying the dishes in this restaurant were the worst one. But personally, I don't think this way, maybe I was just too hungry until can't taste the taste properly? I don't know... I guess it was the styles that can't really match their tastes.

Hehe... After dinner, the tour brought us all to shopping. They said this is the China Bukit Bintang 'cause of the lightning Christmas tree outside with a star on top. Almost same as the one shown in Bukit Bintang. Guess that's how the name derived..

Inside supermart... Was searching for food part, 'cause we were told that the "Jiang Pai Gu" (pork rib bones with sauce) very nice, and it's cheap to get it here... So yea, everyone as craving for it. Hehe :)

Arhh... Found it ^^ And the next thing we did was...

Crazily grabbing an amount of "Jiang Pai Gu" like they were free of charge. LOL... Don't need to be so kua jeong ya. Paiseh... :P

In the shopping complex, we claimed that for so long we never been to any normal shopping complex before. This would be the most normal one for us then... Very nice leh, inside somemore selling bubble tea or fruit juices. Wanted to buy, 'cause kinda thirsty, but parents not around, so no money. :(

Haha... The candies and sweets selling part. But frankly, most of them not nice de. :P That's why I didn't grab any at all. ^^

Chao-ing after all of us got what we want from the supermart... Heading to our not far away's Magnotel Jin Jiang Hotels. Super damn cold lo... :S

All of us were in a hurry of taking all our stuff, belongings and luggages, dashing into the lobby after checking. This hotel looks nice, but... Haha, will tell you more about it tomorrow morning ;)

Wanna know more??
Stay tune then :)
