Destination: The Curve!! :)

After SS2 pasar malam, the next destination was... yeah :)... The Curve :D

Well and again, she took over the driving part. Hehe, gotta let her to get used to the big Camry so that she can handle next time without me taking over. Her driving skills... err, hehe, very cautious, no problem no worries. :) At least not as scary as I do, 'cause of the kissing of other cars' butts and makes her screaming all the time "Don't kiss their butts!!!"

Duel to saying bye bye SS2 for quite some time, we can barely recognize the way out. Turning rounds and rounds, stopping by the roadside, machee and juices served(nice)... it's time for the GPS to do its job. Lol, okay... destination set. Making a U-turn, it led us on its own. Reaching the junction, Anne finally remembered the way to The Curve, but the GPS kept repeating, "Turn left, Turn left..." Irritating? Yeah...

"ZAI IA LIAO LA!!!"

was how she responsed to the GPS...
meaning: "KNOW ALREADY LA!!!" (In HocKien)

Hahahaha... well, we shall just leave it there in case she really misses the junction.

And here we are... The Curve food street.

poser spotted...

Love the lightning here at evening time... Frankly it's my second time here. All the while it's fresh in my mind that I love this beautiful place since the first time, simply because of the lightnings, the feels(romantic), the varieties choices of restaurants, and also the stores in the middle of the street selling all kinds of boutique items. It's not a bad idea to pick what you are looking for like, bags, shoes and boots, wallets and purses, sunglasses, watches, and maybe dresses. I can't get to name all...

In front of Mache, love this shot. :)

Supposed, Marche was the restaurant we planned to try out. I heard that it's something like buffet which we are to pick the raw food we wanna serve and they cook on spot. Sounds special yet it was still during Malay Puasa period, all the have were only Ramadhan Buffet. I don't understand what's the difference but well we were gonna head on to other restaurants.

What a rare chance to have such outing here, I meant with Anne. I'm therefore freaking painstaking in the restaurant that serve us. It's not a strait to choose a nice restaurant in this "restaurant-ful" place, but absolutely no thanks to Sakae Sushi, Fridays, or Kenny Rogers, etc etc.

Eventually...

Bubba Gump Shrimp Company :D

Was our choice...

It's in our restaurant try lists since quite some times ago. Ermm, yeah, since her birthday this year.. Hehe, glad that we finally make it. Saw those items hanging on the rack and hanger? I bet were the boutique items for sales. Located besides the main restaurant... I want their shirts. :)

As you can see, the restaurant is constructed mostly with woods. With lots of enthralling quotations on hanging on the wall, as well as some handmade decorations, and also the countless of stickers with number all over the pillars. Have no ideas what were the number stickers originally, but they do make the restaurant look more classic and captivating. :) But the Malaysia flag :S.. Lol, overall ~ Thumbs up* :D

Anne, character of the night...

Is this better? Ermm, love this one more...

Ohh... I didn't notice until Anne went around and snapped this. There was a small-scaled bar further inside the restaurant. Haha, it did caught my attention.

Hehe, she snapped this... not bad, but the color not vivid enough. Sorry I should be teaching her how to use my D-SLR and to adjust it. Aiks... I forgot, (and my camera was stolen again, damn it...) next time ya :) You need to know 'cause you are using it quite often. No worries, very easy only... :D

Spotted beers, Carlsberg, Heineken, and Tiger... Hehe, should have gave them a try but we didn't plan to serve with any of them that day. It's not the time... Laundry will do next time ;)

Besides beers, they have quite a lot of other types of wine as you can see on the rack.

OLD SAILORS DRINKING SOCIETY?? Lol, it reminds me of the those pirates and sailors drinking their beers or wines in the bar... I love this shot, a nice shot from Anne. :) Credit

Obviously, the bar tender looked somehow kinda shy... I don't know what happened but all I saw was, Anne asking him to pose and let her to have a shot like this... hehe, not bad though, nice shot. I was sneering behind... :)

"RUN FORREST RUN!!"... as the first time customers, we were told by the waitress that they would not border or interrupt us as long as this blue metal plate is shown on top... and...

"STOP FORREST STOP!!"... would cause them to show up to us almost instantaneously once we flip to this red plate. We were like, "wow, amazing...!!" (Really?? Wanna try??)

Lol, Anne wanted to shoot at the both the plates. And when she was halfway shooting at the red one, the waiter shows up right in half a second. Hahaha, so paiseh for making them busy but we like their service, rather efficient. :)

I thought of ordering a color-captivating drink, Tropical Vodka. It looks nice in it's color, in green, and I guess it's a mix of soda with topical fruit flavor. But Anne hold me back, claiming that it's unhealthy because of the coloring. Hmm :) okay, she don't feel like drinking much, so we ordered Yogurt of Berries Fusion and share with each other.

Yogurt of Berries Fushion, it tastes nice... love it.

A shot of Anne with the drink :)

The actual name of the drink was called "RUN FORREST RUN". Haha, that's the reason it caught our attention and we ordered it. Anne asked the waitress, what if the drink arrived and it's with our blue plate on top? She said she will run far away immediately! Haha, makes us laugh all the while... :D

Their famous drinks were all jotted down on this ping pong bat, nice shot by Anne..

Taking picture with a metal barrel that contained chili sauces and tobasco inside.. We were kinda amazed at everything that they serve on the table. Very special, even the table was with something written in marker by anonymous... love this shot too :) it's nice

Food served... don't really what's the name of her meal, but I've tried a lil... it's rice covered fully with baked cheeses and cooked together with shrimps... tasted nice though.

Busy taking pictures of her meal... :)

And this was mine... same, I couldn't remember what's the name of this. It's served with veges like carrots, long beans, onions, and the lemon is for the salmon. Hey Anne, I'm fine with veges okay? I love veges... not exactly a carnivorous, I'm more to like omnivorous . :)

Anne with her food, norm norm... :P

Me with my food... ^^

Finished our food for like after hours of chatting... Anne told me actually there is a second floor in this Bubba Gump restaurant, and we are allow to make reservation if ever we wanna celebrate a party with friends or to have personal dinners upstairs. The thing is, call them up in advance... We went snapping around at the staircase and also second floor. So quite.. :)

Halfway up to the second floor, nice posture...

Me, hehe... posing for the shot.. :)

Nice.. love this shot..

A waiter helped us to take this, somehow, it looks a bit blur. He just couldn't get us a sharp shot, headache... can you please avoid handshaking?

Hehe.. those seats were nicely arrange upstairs. We went around to check out at every corner... Just can't help stop taking pictures at each other. Messy-kan their chairs and things on the table.. :P

It's a shirt with their company name and years that the company formed on it... Love this shot, I was wondering is it for sale?

Random shots by Anne. She just can't help with these romantic scenes. Hehe... cute :)
They are nice though.

Last shot in The Curve, leaving....

Wait... the night hasn't end yet. It Merdeka Eve, we planned to go for the count down. Who knows none of the places has fireworks, disappointed... We only get to see one on the way on the way to I-City, a super duper small one... Sigh, no choice then. Was expecting something special in I-City..

To be Continued,
make sure u stay tune.
